Gaelscoil Sáirséal Chess Club attended a Blitz in the Southcourt Hotel on Wednesday 12th February. We sent two teams of eight into battle on the day and they fought side by side. It turned out to be an extremely hard-fought battle but, in the end, they returned home safe and sound. This was an eight-school blitz and our chess experts thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
