Tá Seachtain Scútáil ar scoil ar siúl ón 10ú-14ú Meitheamh 2024.
Iarraim ar na páistí go bhfuil scútar nó rothar agus clogad acu iarracht a dhéanamh scútáil, rothaíocht nó siúl ar scoil an tseachtain seo ach go háirithe. Beidh an Lá Náisiúnta Scútála ar siúl ar an gCéadaoin an 12ú Meitheamh. Ba bhreá linn an páirceáil scútála agus an bothán rothaíochta a fhéiceáil lán gach lá. Beidh pas obair bhaile ann don rang taistil is fearr.
Beidh dream ó Safe Routes To School linn Dé Máirt chun físeán a dhéanamh ar an obair a rinneadh ós comhair na scoile agus an tionchar atá aige ar thaisteal glas.
Beidh an bus rothaíochta ann an tseachtain seo, coimead súil amach ar an aip le haghaidh níos mó eolais. Beidh scútáil sa chlós le Múinteoirí Katie agus Pádraig Dé Máirt d’éinne le scútar agus clogad.
Scoot to School Week will run from 10th – 14th of June 2024.
Children who have a scooter or bike and a helmet are encouraged to scoot, cycle or walk to school this week in particular. National SOW Day (Scoot on Wednesday) takes place on the 12th of June. A homework pass will be awarded to the class with the greatest number of children cycling, scooting and walking to school.
We are looking forward to seeing our scooter parking and bicycle shed full next week and we encourage as many children and parents as possible to join our cycle bus. Keep an eye out on the app for further information.
Safe Routes To School will be with us on Tuesday making a short video on the positive effects that the new infrastructure in front of the school is having on safe and green travel in Gaelscoil Sáirséal.
Múinteoirí Katie and Pádraig will run an obstacle course with children who bring their scooter and helmet to school on Tuesday.
